We are excited to announce that our 3rd annual Golf Scramble will be held Saturday, August 16, at the Valley Golf Club in Hines! Tee off is at 9 a.m. After the scramble, join us at the clubhouse for delicious food and an exciting corn hole tournament!

Since 1980, the Foundation has been supporting Harney District Hospital and the Harney County community through advancements in healthcare equipment. This summer, we are raising funds for a biliblanket for the hospital’s OB Department. The GE Bilisoft 2.0 Phototherapy System will allow newborn babies to be held and swaddled while receiving treatment for jaundice (hyperbilirubinemia). Traditional treatment is delivered via fixed overhead lights, requiring babies to be placed in a bassinet unswaddled for prolonged periods of time. Parents often feel disconnected from their babies because they’re unable to hold or breastfeed them while they undergo treatment. The GE Bilisoft phototherapy blanket eliminates the need for separation, supporting even the tiniest patients with increased comfort, better bonding, and higher-quality care.
